Bruno’s welcome video goes here

Before you dive in, watch this short welcome video. Bruno explains who this site is for, what you’ll learn, and exactly what to do first.

Is this for you?

This site is for you if:

  • You’ve never picked up a guitar before
  • You tried to learn years ago and gave up
  • You’ve been strumming casually but want to actually progress
  • You want to play your favourite songs — as fast as possible

You don’t need to read music. You don’t need theory. You don’t need an expensive guitar. All you need is a guitar and 15 minutes a day.

Your four-step learning path

Follow these steps in order. Each one builds on the last — and by step 4 you’re playing full songs.

Step 1
🎸

Get to Know Your Guitar

Posture, tuning, your first sounds. The only lesson before you start playing real songs.

What you need to get started

You don’t need much. Here’s the short list.

🎸

A guitar

Acoustic or classical for beginners. Around $100–$150 gets you something decent to start.

🔧

A tuner

A clip-on tuner or the free GuitarTuna app. Tune every single time you pick the guitar up.

🎵

A few picks

Medium thickness (0.7mm). Buy a variety pack — you will lose them constantly and that’s normal.

15 minutes a day

Seriously, that’s enough. Short daily practice beats long occasional sessions every time.

Bruno’s top tips before you start

Tip 1

Your fingers will hurt — and that’s okay

Fingertip soreness in the first week or two is completely normal. The skin hardens into calluses and the pain disappears. Don’t let it stop you.

Tip 2

Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.

Speed comes from playing slowly and correctly, over and over. If something sounds messy, slow right down until it’s clean, then gradually speed up.

Tip 3

Keep your guitar out of its case

If your guitar is in the cupboard, you won’t play it. Keep it on a stand somewhere visible. The easier it is to pick up, the more you’ll practise.

Tip 4

It’s supposed to feel hard at first

Buzzy chords and slow changes are not a sign you can’t do it — it’s just what learning guitar feels like. It gets easier, faster than you think.

Common questions

How long will it take to play my favourite songs?

Most of Bruno’s students are playing recognisable songs within 2–4 weeks of daily practice. Five chords unlock hundreds of songs — and you’ll learn all five in the first few lessons.

Do I need to learn to read music?

No — not even close. Bruno’s lessons use chord diagrams and tabs, which are simple, visual and all you need to play songs. Most guitarists, including many professionals, never learn to read sheet music.

Do I need to learn music theory?

No. Bruno’s approach is entirely practical. You’ll understand why things work after you can already play them — not before. Theory never gets in the way of playing songs here.

Acoustic or electric guitar?

Acoustic is the better starting point for most beginners — no amp needed, simpler setup. But if your goal is rock or metal, starting on electric is perfectly fine.

What if I miss a few days of practice?

Don’t worry about it — just pick up where you left off. Progress isn’t lost that quickly. What matters is getting back to it, not beating yourself up for missing a day or two.

Ready? Let’s play.

Start with Lesson 1 — it’s short, friendly, and by Lesson 2 you’ll already be playing chords from your favourite songs.
